May I just say- that amongst all the excitement of starting a new career- the thought of becoming a Mother is even more exciting!
As a disclaimer for this blog: I can say with a fair ammount of certainty that I will be posting information about my pregnancy amongs all of the other photography jibber-jabber.
How could I not?! It's kind of a big deal.
Today I noticed that my belly is starting to round out the way an actual pregnant woman's belly does! Soon it will become more obvious to the average observer that I am actually pregnant and not just eating way too much pasta! (...However, both of these statements would currently be correct).
Our next ultra-sound scan is in another two weeks. We are hoping to find out the gender of our un-born child that day! Both Chris and I decided early on that we want to find out as soon as possible if we're having a little boy or a little girl. It's one of the things we DO agreee on. Unlike baby names. Chris has also decided that our baby will play rugby. No matter what. So I'm hoping if we have a daughter she's not afraid to break a nail.

Your post about becomming a mom just lights up my day. I feel like you are writing exactly what I would if I were in your shoes! I'm overwhelmingly excited for you and would love to hear more about your experience since we're so far apart!
